15 new pictures have been added to the Gallery lately.
A friend has bought a nice digital camera which I'm allowed
to borrow now and then (big thanks, JCAP!).
Recently I spent a couple of long nights taking dome pictures,
so along with uploading brand new dome photos, I'm also
replacing most of the blurred, old anolog ones with new
and better copies.
Along with uploading the June Snowdome of the Month I've
added a couple of new dome pictures to the Animals
and Characters sections
of the Gallery. Not much, but
I no longer have acces to a digital camera and can't really
keep the gallery updated for the time being (any sponsors
out there???)
Only due to my laziness I still had these few photos lying
around crying to be published...
I KNOW!! I've been neglecting this site for way too long
- but now, just for starters, there's a handful of new X-mas
dome pictures in the Seasonal section. We have borrowed
a digital camera from my sister- and brother-in-law - and
what an amazing difference it makes. I now know for sure:
Shooting dome collections with an ordinary hobby camera
simply isn't possible. I will be adding more photos very
soon (perhaps even a few before Christmas), but for now:
Enjoy the new seasonals in the Gallery.
By the way: Realizing that the "Snowdome of the week"-concept
was just too ambitious, I've changed it to a dome-of-the-month
thing. Hope I'll be able to justify that heading a bit better...
